We are pleased to introduce Chris Koczaja, our new President and CEO.

Chris will lead LightWave Solar as it continues its pursuit to deliver quality solar power solutions across the residential, commercial, industrial, municipal and utility sectors.

While Chris will be leading the day-to-day operations, Steve Johnson, LightWave Solar Founder and Partner, will continue his work helping to ensure LightWave remains the trusted name for solar PV in the region.

Previous to his role at LightWave Solar, Chris served as PHG Energy’s Chief Operating Officer, leading the company’s design and implementation of novel waste-to-energy solutions that provided both economic and environmental advantages. He also worked for Caterpillar, Inc. having multiple responsibilities in both their Mining and Electric Power Divisions. While at Caterpillar he earned his 6 Sigma Blackbelt certification and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to not only be part of the LightWave team, but to lead it into its next phase,” says Chris. “Advances in the industry, even just in the last year, have made solar financially viable in places it wouldn’t have been just a couple of years ago. I look forward to continuing LightWave Solar’s dedication to its customers by helping them enjoy the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy,” he says.

Welcome aboard, Chris!
