Home Equity Lines of Credit for Solar Systems
LightWave Solar has partnered with SunTrust Bank to offer Home Equity Lines of Credit for solar PV systems.
With Generation Partners’ 12 cent premium, TVA’s $1,000 installation incentive and the 30% federal tax credit, monthly payments could equal electric bill offsets depending on system size, credit score and other factors. This financing could significantly lower the out-of-pocket investment in solar.
Current variable rates are as low as 2.99% and fixed rates start at 6.49%.
Features include no closing costs if open for 3 years or more, loan approvals generally within one day, and minimum documentation requested.
