Option 1: Sell your solar energy
Simplest way to incorporate clean & renewable solar energy at your home.
Most of our customers participate in TVA’s Green Power Providers program. You can partner with your local utility and TVA to sell your solar generation to the grid. Then, you will see solar credits on your monthly electric bills.
Monitor your system’s performance online. In addition to seeing credits on your electric bills, you can check out your system anytime, anywhere with online monitoring.
Types of Installations
We will evaluate the suitability of your roof based on this criteria:
- Faces south, east and/or west
- Has minimal shade from nearby trees
- Has minimal obstructions like chimneys, dormers, etc.
- Is in good condition (typically, under 10 years old)
- Is asphalt shingle, metal, standing seam, or another material suitable for solar panels
Examples of our roof-mounted projects
8.7kW solar system on an asphalt shingle roof in Westhaven in Franklin, TN
10kW solar system on a metal roof in rural Williamson County, TN
5.4kW solar system on a standing seam copper roof in Nashville, TN
Other mounting options
A ground-mounted system costs more than a roof-mounted system, but provides higher production. Here’s why: We can install the panels so they are orientated due south, receiving the most sunlight. Also, ground-mounted solar panels receive more air flow, improving performance.
Examples of our ground-mounted projects
10kW system in Kingston Springs, TN
20kW system in Clarksville, TN
10kW system in Hendersonville, TN
Canopy or awning
Get the perks of a ground-mounted system, plus shade for your parking area, patio, or porch. A parking canopy pairs nicely with an electric vehicle (EV) charger. Cool factor: Translucent solar panels can be used!
Examples of our solar canopy and awning projects
5kW solar canopy for patio (plus 3kW rooftop panels) in
8kW solar awning for front porch in
