USDA Solar Grant Deadline is November 2, 2015
USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Grants cover up to 25% of solar system costs and are available to Small Rural Businesses and/or Agricultural Producers. Who qualifies? You must answer yes to either of these questions:
A. Are you a Small Rural Business? Rural means your city or town has a population under 50,000 people, and it is outside of a metropolitan area. “Small business” depends on your business type, though the limits are fairly high and most businesses qualify as small.
B. Are you an Agricultural Producer who earns at least 50% of your income from farming? If so you can be in any area, urban or rural.
If you answered yes to either question, you are likely eligible for a 25% grant from the USDA to help pay for your solar system! Application deadline for grants $20,000 or less is November 2, 2015.
LightWave Solar assembles grant applications on behalf of our customers and makes the grant process easy. Since 2009, we have helped 55 business owners and farmers get a USDA grant for their solar system. Our grant application approval rate is 98%!
