Solar Lunch & Learn for Farmers on Dec 11

LightWave Solar will explain the benefits of adding solar photovoltaics (PV) to a farm. The presentation will cover the basics of solar energy including system components, costs, and a breakdown of the available incentives, including TVA’s solar buyback program, the 30% federal tax credit and accelerated depreciation, and the USDA REAP Energy Grant which covers up to 25% of system cost up to $20,000. Event is free and open to the public.
